Sun Visor Bracket

This customer had one of the brackets that mounts one of the sun visors to the ceiling of their truck break, and the bracket holding the other sun visor on was showing signs of being close to failure as well. They reached out to me and later delivered the broken bracket to me, and also provided me with one of the sun visors with the intact bracket still attached to it. I was able to reverse engineer the bracket fairly quickly. The only aspect of this process that took a little bit of time was getting the tolerance on the hole the sun visor snaps into just right. I wanted it to be completely snug and have no wobble to it, just like the factory OEM bracket. Unfortunately, each time I put the test piece on the sun visor, I had to physically break the piece to then get it back off. Even with that, I was able to get the finished products back to the customer in about two weeks. I threw in two extra brackets as well, just in case the first pair had any issues. These brackets were printed in ASA, which can handle extreme temperatures and is very durable. They will have no issues enduring the hot summer days of Southern Oregon. I am highly satisfied with how these turned out, and I believe my customer was just as enthusiastic as I was.
